The 3458 is the same router as the 3430 with a built in 8 port data switch. This makes the Adtran 3458 great for small offices with less than 8 devices or larger offices that need dual Internet connections with automatic hand-off and disaster recovery. The 8 port switch can be upgraded for POE to provide Power Over Ethernet for IP phones, surveillance cameras and other power hungry devices.
